Alta Telecom leased 30,375 square feet in Peachtree Technology Center.

Press Release, May 12, 2010

ATLANTA – CresaPartners, the largest tenant representation firm in North America, recently assisted Alta Telecom, Inc. in negotiations for new office space at 5854 Peachtree Corners East, Suite 100, Norcross, GA 30092. Kevin Creel, Managing Principal, and Joe Grace, Vice President, of CresaPartners Atlanta represented the company in its lease of a 30,375 square foot stand alone building, which includes a 5,000 square foot data center.

Alta Telecom was incorporated in Georgia in 1984 and provides a suite of services incorporating comprehensive, innovative and cost effective solutions for equipment manufacturers, telecommunications service providers and private network operators. Since its inception, Alta Telecom prides itself on being a significant participant in the latest and most advanced technological developments in the telecommunications industry.

“While our current lease doesn’t expire until December, we expedited our search to accommodate a new business line,” said Ronald J. Newitt, President of Alta Telecom, Inc. “Within 90 days of beginning the process, CresaPartners found just the right solution for a very specific requirement – an office space that also contained an existing data center.”

“To expand its services, Alta Telecom needed a data center that could be operational by May 1st,” said Kevin Creel, Managing Principal with CresaPartners. “Building 10 in the Peachtree Technology Center fit the specifications perfectly, with a dedicated generator and UPS system, CAT 5 cabling throughout the building, and approximately 5,000 square feet of raised floor data center space.”

Bryan Heller, Vice President of Leasing with TPA Realty Services, LLC represented the owner of Building 10, VIF II of Peachtree Technology. Peachtree Technology Center is conveniently located off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross, GA.
