Consumer Credit Counseling Service Renews Lease for Counseling Center in Gwinnett County

Press Release, March 10, 2010

ATLANTA – CresaPartners, the largest tenant representation firm in North America, recently assisted the Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Greater Atlanta in the renewal of its lease of 11,320 square feet at 2160 Satellite Boulevard, Suite 400, Duluth, Georgia 30096. Bob Misdom, Vice President of CresaPartners Atlanta represented CCCS in the transaction.

CCCS is a full-service, nonprofit financial counseling agency based in Atlanta. Consumers in financial distress can reach the organization 24 hours a day, seven days a week over the telephone and internet, in both English and Spanish. CCCS also offers in-person counseling at 30 offices in Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.

“While our organization is growing, we wanted to lower our overall costs and still provide a quality working environment for our employees,” Mark Cole, Chief Operating Officer of CCCS. “CresaPartners negotiated renewal terms at our current location that provided significant savings, which will enable our agency to invest in additional counselors to help more people now in financial distress.”

“After a thorough analysis of the market, we found a perfect alternative with significant cost savings,” said Bob Misdom, Vice President with CresaPartners. “In the end, their current landlord was quite flexible, enabling us to negotiate a deal that fit the CCCS budget.”

Ginger Martin, of Taylor&Mathis, represented Sugarloaf Partners, LLC, the owner of the 2160 Satellite Boulevard building. The building is located in the Sugarloaf Corporate Center, a 62-acre master planned office park and mixed-use project in the heart of Gwinnett County and near the TPC at Sugarloaf Golf Community.
