ATLANTA – CresaPartners, the largest pure tenant representation firm in North America, represented The Goddard School in the lease of space for a new childcare facility opening in Sandy Springs later this year. Brian Greene, Associate, and Kathy Burke, Vice President, of CresaPartners assisted The Goddard School in the negotiation of 9,625 square feet on the ground floor of the Perimeter Town Center building located at 1150 E Hammond Drive, Sandy Springs, Georgia, 30328.
In January 2009, The Goddard School was named the number one childcare franchise in the United States, by Entrepreneur magazine, for the eighth consecutive year, and one of the Top 200 Franchise Systems in worldwide sales, by Franchise Times, for the second consecutive year. Headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, The Goddard School currently licenses 320 franchised schools in 37 states. Pat Chesser, Vice President-Development of Ackerman & Co., represented the owner. In 2003, Ackerman & Co. purchased the 20 acre, 293,000 square foot office park, formerly known as Corporate Campus, to redevelop the property located at the intersection of Hammond Drive and Peachtree-Dunwoody Road. The new mixed-use development at 1150 E Hammond Drive contains both medical offices and retail space, including three restaurants.
