CresaPartners Atlanta Establishes a Corporate Services Group and Enhances Project Manager Capabilities

Press Release, June 8, 2009

ATLANTA – CresaPartners, an international corporate real estate advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Jim Dezell and Mitch Rabil have joined the Atlanta office. Jim Dezell, Executive Vice President, is tasked with developing the Corporate Services group and Mitch Rabil, Vice President – Project Management, will add senior expertise to the existing Project Management team.

Jim Dezell is a 20 year veteran of commercial real estate, having served as a Senior Vice President and Managing Partner of the Atlanta Corporate Services Group of CBRE. While at CBRE, Jim was directly responsible for the day-to-day management of a 14 person team that assisted major corporations with acquisition and disposition of real estate, which often exceeded 4 million square feet of transactions a year. He was also formerly affiliated with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Land Group, where he supported Fortune Top 50 companies with consulting, strategic analysis, and transactional services.

Mitch Rabil is well-known in the Atlanta area, having been the president of the Atlanta Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and a charter member of the Atlanta Corporate Headquarters Benchmarking Group. Previously, he was the Director of Construction Management for Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. for eleven years and before that was the Project Manager – Global Real Estate for Hewlett-Packard Company for ten years.

“Mitch Rabil’s corporate background is a welcomed addition to our Project Management group,” said Dennis Compton, Vice President – Director of Project Management. “We expect that Mitch will not only offer tremendous expertise to our Atlanta client base, but will also manage projects for our new Corporate Services group.

“CresaPartners is honored to attract these two highly qualified real estate executives to our team,” said Richard T. (Bubba) Chrismer, Principal. “Jim Dezell’s past success in Corporate Services makes him the perfect candidate to initiate this service offering in our Atlanta office and he will have Mitch Rabil as an able partner to support Fortune 500 clients.”

“While other real estate companies are cutting back, we are expanding our integrated services to provide a higher level of support to our clients,” said Jim Byrd, Co-Founder and Principal. “We are especially excited about our corporate services and project management offerings, as we see many corporations who are now ready to outsource these functions due to budget considerations.”
